We have been all over the country and the two Grand Casinos have the most unfriendly internet access. The internal network is good enough but they use a very grouchy proxy server that requires a password that changes periodically. The other technology issue I have is with "free" Internet wireless access. Lately they have been trying to install some that are more easily accessible. You may also have to bring your own multiple outlet adapters and crawl under desks to get plugged in. If you have computer devices or cell phone chargers you have to test them for ones that are on all the time. My only complaint is the arcane electrical outlet switching in most of the rooms with some on wall switches. We have stayed in the hotel several times and the facility is above average, clean and efficiently run. The casino runs a shuttle continuously to the remote hotels and most any other places patrons may wish to visit, such as a multiplex movie theater. There is a large attached hotel and two remote hotels. ![]() GC Hinckley is large, busy, noisy and often crowded. Both are operated by a local band of Native Americans. The other is about an hour to the west on the shore of Mille Lacs lake. Grand Casino Hinckley, a few miles east of I35, is one of two Grands in Minnesota.
